The digital age with its image editing programs makes it relatively easy today to transpose the colorful reality into the reduced dimension of gray values and into their extreme embodiment “black” and “white”.

Black and white or monochrome pictures have their own language. Here, these are the picture contents I selected, showing the different moods (weather and light conditions) or my own inner world of thoughts and feelings. This I have tried to transmit while taking the picture, but also during the conversion from color to black and white pictures.
